  3. TOUCHBASE PRO Demo Installation

  5. 1-Copy the TOUCHBASE PRO ƒ folder from the server to your hard disk.
  6. 2-Move the file TOUCHBASE PRO Templates to your Preferences folder in your System folder.

  8. That's it!

  10. Below is a description of each of the TOUCHBASE PRO Demo files.

  12. 1-TOUCHBASE PRO Demo
  13. This is the demo version of the application.  It can go anywhere on your hard disk.  The demo is limited to entering 30 contacts in each file.
  14. 2-TOUCHBASE PRO Preferences
  15. This file is automatically generated when you launch the TOUCHBASE PRO Demo.  It stores information such as the last file opened, the border color, and other preferences.  This file belongs in the Preferences folder.  If you throw this file away, it will automatically be regenerated with default values the next time you launch.
  16. 3-TOUCHBASE PRO Templates
  17. This file contains user defined templates for labels, address books, address formats, custom views, display headers, etc.  This file belongs in the Preferences folder.  If you throw this file away, it will automatically be regenerated (but without any Templates) the next time you launch.
  18. 4-TOUCHBASE PRO FastLetters
  19. This folder is automatically generated when you launch the TOUCHBASE PRO Demo.  This folder contains letters created with the FastLetter editor.  It must be in the same folder as the TOUCHBASE PRO Demo application.  If you throw this folder away or move it out of the folder that the TOUCHBASE PRO Demo application is in, TOUCHBASE PRO Demo will regenerate another (empty) one the next time you launch.

  24. DATEBOOK PRO Demo Installation

  26. 1-Copy the DATEBOOK PRO ƒ folder from the server to your hard disk.
  27. 2-Move the file DATEBOOK PRO Extension to your Extensions folder in your System folder.  
  28. 3-Restart your Macintosh

  32. Below is a description of each of the DATEBOOK PRO Demo files

  34. 1-DATEBOOK PRO Demo
  35. This is the application.  It can go anywhere on your hard disk.  It is limited to 30 calendar items.
  36. 2-DATEBOOK PRO Extension
  37. This is the extension that controls the Mini DATEBOOK PRO feature (launch by holding down the command,option, and d keys simultaneously) and allows alarms to go off while the DATEBOOK PRO application is not running.  This file must be in the Extensions folder.  If you remove it, you can still run DATEBOOK PRO Demo, but alarms will not go off unless you are running the application and the Mini DATEBOOK PRO feature will not be available.

This file is generated the first time you launch DATEBOOK PRO Demo.  It stores information such as the last file opened, colors, and other preferences.  This file belongs in the Preferences folder.  If you throw this file away, it will automatically be regenerated with default values the next time you launch.
